Even One DUI can keep you out of Canada

Have you just been arrested for a DUI in Atlanta?  No big deal. I will just plead guilty and move on.  I have tickets to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and do not want my court date to interfere with my travel plans.  Think Again! The Seattle Times reports that four-to-five passengers a week on the Victoria Clipper are refused entry into Canada and told to take the next boat back to Seattle because of even a single DUI conviction no matter how old.

If you have been convicted of a DUI and are planning on buying tickets to the February 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, you may want to consider hiring a “Coyote” to smuggle you across the US/Canadian border. A single DUI can have international implications.
